As mentioned previously, I prefer a holistic or natural approach when dealing with my menopause symptoms and life in general. After doing research on HRT's, I prefer not be on hormone replacement therapy. This is only my opinion but you should always consult with your physician, do research and then decide what is best for you. Some women who have experienced a histerectomy might need to be on HRT. Below you will find some of the natural remedies I take to help me through the day.
If you don't follow a well balanced meal regimen, it is recommend to take one multivitamin with minerals after breakfast to supplement your meals throughout the day. Make sure no nutrient listed on the label exceeds 100 percent of the Recommended Dietary Allowances.

- Black Cohosh (cimcifuga racemosa) - Found in North America, this herb is proven to reduce hot-flashes and has been used for centuries to improve female health. Black Cohosh is more pure and potent than the Asian variety. It can be used by women who cannot take synthetic hormones. It is proven that it helps hot-flashes, night sweats and helps with mood swings.
- Calcium and Boron - helps support strong bones. Also regulates the nervous system. Because it helps support the calming effect of other ingredients in helps with a good night sleep. Boron works together with calcium to help develop strong bones.
